JUST OVER THE BRIDGE!
When you come to Ocean City, you definitely will want to see the other
resorts also as they all are quite unique. Each resort has its "own
charm". Just over the Corson Bridge at 59th Street, you enter
Strathmere which is the northern end of Sea Isle
City
Leaving the southend of Sea Isle and just over the bridge, you will be charmed by Avalon and fall in love with the town of Stone Harbor with its quaint and wonderful shopping district
Just over the bridge at the southend of Stone Harbor will bring you into North Wildwood, Wildwood and Wildwood Crest and then just over the next bridge into Cape May with its gingerbread houses, wonderful restaurants, quaint Washington Avenue shops and then going west.....the ferry to Lewes DE
If you leave Ocean City going west, just over the new and still being constructed Howard Stainton Memorial Causeway bridge, you will first arrive in Somers Point where there is a wonderful hospital, the best restaurants and a really nice little town with boating and fishing. Just beyond Somers Point, you will enter Linwood and then Northfield
However you also can turn south just after you go over this new bridge and end up in Egg Harbor Township which boasts of houses on the bay where the crabbing is the best in the cedar waters.
If you just go over the 34th St Roosevelt Boulevard bridge in Ocean City, you will end up in the very large and varied Upper Township which has great schools, beautiful and friendly neighborhoods and lots of food stores and pharmacies....and then into farmland where a lot of your favorite Jersey tomatoes, corn and other vegetables are grown.
And last, if you just go over the bridge at the north end of Ocean City, you will go over the Ocean Drive/Longport bridge which will take you into Longport, Margate, Ventor and Atlantic City.
